1. Online

Ways to access bookings on mobile and desktopEnjoy the convenience of booking your NSW TrainLink travel online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and American Express. You can also book online and then pay at any Australia Post Office with Pay it @ Post.

Then print the booking confirmation or display it on a mobile phone or other electronic device to use it as your ticket.

Before you book

  • Know the stations or stops you need to travel to - check our network map if you're unsure.
  • Have details of any Pensioner Travel Vouchers or concession cards handy.

Online booking is not available for:

  • customers with certain concession entitlements
  • customers with disabilities requiring special assistance, including people with wheelchairs
  • groups of 10 or more people
  • sleeping berths
  • requests for space for bulky items such as bicycles, surfboards and snowboards.

When making your booking over the phone, you also have the option to:

Pay now: We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express

OR

Pay later: You can book over the phone and then choose to pay later at any Australia Post Office with Pay it @ Post.

You can book travel and change or cancel bookings at selected NSW TrainLink stations and Sales Agents across Australia and the world.

Payment options

You can pay using cash, credit card or cheque and Sales Agents have eftpos.
